Meet Our Director of Nursing - Dorothy Kishiyama
Dorothy acquired her BS in nursing in 1978, discovering her passion quickly led her to work for the last 42 years in long term care. She has been the director of nursing for over 28 years. Dorothy has a motto that she lives and works by instilled in her from her father, “The Golden Rule”. She lets this rule infuse all areas guiding her into a compassionate, efficient and diligent method of nursing. She is an advocate for our seniors ensuring she and the other nurses do their absolute best making sure all care is of the highest quality.
Dorothy is the proud mother of 4 children, including one daughter who recently obtained a BS in nursing. Dorothy is an avid gardener, searches for rocks and minerals to add to her collection. She is an energetic sports fan.
Meet Our Director of Admissions - Lori Fuller
A native of Lodi, CA Lori has a background in Agriculture Business. After working for 12 years for USDA, she realized a career in long term care was where her socialization skills would be put to a greater use.
This has been the only facility Lori has worked at for over 22 years as Admission Coordinator and Business Office Manager.
Lori met her husband a Nevada City native once she moved to Nevada County. She spends her spare time gardening and playing with Lily, her Olde English Bulldogge who is one of the facility mascots
